LONDON OPEN GARDENS 2025
We welcomed over 400 visitors to the garden on Sunday 8 June as part of the London Open Gardens weekend event. After a very wet Saturday, we were relieved to find Sunday to be dry and generally sunny. We had a constant stream of guests throughout the afternoon, with more visitors than any previous year. The garden (and our gardeners!) received a lot of compliments.
We expect next year’s event to take place in June and we hope to take part once again on the Sunday afternoon. For more information about this annual event, when over 100 (usually private) gardens are open to the public, visit the London Parks & Gardens' website London Open Gardens.
Shakespeare in the Squares 2025
We were once again delighted to welcome Shakespeare in the Squares to Leinster Square for the opening night of their summer tour.
This year’s production is a witty, modern take on The Taming of the Shrew. Often considered to be one of Shakespeare’s most challenging plays to stage, this clever interpretation proves the doubters wrong. We were treated to a thoroughly entertaining, laughter-filled evening of excellent performances, including songs from the 50s and 60s, a mime show and a wonderfully stylish set of costumes.
Performances are taking place in 34 parks and gardens across London between 4 June and 12 July.
